The Faculty of Public Administration Publishing Department publishes important academic achievements relating to the administrative sciences in Slovenia and globally as well as pedagogical and other study materials. Usually, it publishes academic, professional and pedagogical publications in six forms:
- scientific monographs within "Upravna misel" collection,
- independent scientific editions on a selected topic,
- professional monographs,
- study materials (textbooks, workbooks, manuals, etc.),
- the FPA technical report series (feasibility study, prestudy, study),
- other types of publications and teaching materials: conference proceedings, professional meetings, lecture notes, etc.
- E-study material is chargeable; students can buy it in the faculty library and receive it via email.
- Printed publications can be purchased in the University of Ljubljana Press Bookshop or in the faculty library.

The 14th Publishing Department Day 2022 was held on 8 March 2022.
We hosted the greatest slovene lawyer, dr. Peter Čeferin.
Musical guest: pop singer Anja Rupel.
The 13th Publishing Department Day took place on March 5, 2019.
We hosted Aljoša Bagola, one of the best Creative Directors in the Adriatic Region, a renowned lecturer, and a bestselling author. For almost 20 years, he has been creating the most notable marketing communications projects in Slovenia. He has won numerous awards and honors at local and international advertising festivals for his work and was declared Slovene Creative Director of the Decade.
Our special musical guests was pop singer Alenka Godec.
The 12th Publishing Department Day took place on March 7, 2018.
We hosted dr. Manca Košir, a Slovenian journalist, professor, philologist, politician, and former film actress.
Our special musical guests were Matjaž Jelen and Samo Jezovšek.
The 11th Publishing Department Day took place on March 7, 2017.
We hosted Mojca Širok, a Slovenian journalist and writer.
