Why study this programme?
The programme prepares students for a broad range of posts in public and business administration, i.e. jobs in the entire public sector, ranging from national administration, broader public administration, as well as public and private companies, particularly those that extensively cooperate with the public sector.
This higher education professional study programme is highly practical in nature and offers expert organisational, computer and administrative-technical knowledge and competencies as well as interdisciplinary knowledge of law, administration and economics required for work in public administration in posts ranging form secretaries, business secretaries and professional clerks to managers of organisational units at lower and middle levels in the hierarchy. The programme also provides enough theoretical knowledge that allows more ambitious students to continue their studies in the 2nd cycle.

Important notice: Before enrolment, all candidates have to pass the recognition procedure in Slovenia. This procedure will take approximately two months.

Candidates with foreign degree qualifications undergo a procedure for recognition of foreign higher education qualifications upon applying for studies. The procedure starts with the candidate’s application for study in the Republic of Slovenia, which is submitted in electronic form on the eVŠ portal. The procedure is run by an authorised person at the university where the candidate applied as their first choice.
Tuition fee €3,000.00 is paid by:
• students of non-EU countries, excluding persons granted international protection, applicants for international protection and persons from countries with which the Republic of Slovenia has concluded a bilateral agreement (Slovenia has concluded bilateral agreements with Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Kosovo and Serbia);
• all students that have already acquired an equivalent degree of education;
• all part-time students.
Administrative costs and compulsory health insurance are not included in the fee. They need to be taken care of before the start of the studies.
