Student Council

The Student Council is a body of the faculty. The members of the Student Council are student representatives from the undergraduate and postgraduate courses representing the views and interests of all the students at the faculty.

They actively participate both in the work of the Senate and the Faculty at the Faculty of Administration and in that of the Undergraduate Studies Commission, the Postgraduate Studies Commission, the Disciplinary Commission, the Commission on International Cooperation, and the Committee on Awarding Prizes to Students.

Members of the Student Council are elected for one year. The Student Council of the Faculty of Administration discusses issues concerning the students’ rights and duties, formulates opinions to be presented at the Student Council of the University of Ljubljana, and together with the university council adopts and carries out the programme of extracurricular activities for students at the University of Ljubljana.

In the procedure of election to title the Student Council gives opinion on educational qualification of university teachers and university staff working at the Faculty of Administration. The Council also performs other tasks if the Senate or the Dean of the Faculty issues a resolution to that effect.
