The main objectives of the university study programme Public Sector Governance:
to provide the graduate with a high quality knowledge and understanding of the content in the broader field of administrative and business sciences, which, on the basis of the competences developed in the programme, will enable him/her to be immediately employable and provide an appropriate starting point for further studies at 2nd cycle,
to provide the student with an understanding of the context in which public administration operates and of the relationship between public administration and public and private sector organisations,
to train the student to be able to make interdisciplinary links between the different fields of administrative and business studies,
to train the student to be a critical thinker and an analytical problem solver,
to train students to work qualitatively with individuals and groups,
to acquire fundamental and broadly transferable skills that will enable graduates to seek out resources and ways to acquire the specific knowledge and skills they need for their work, also abroad, in a process of lifelong learning.
