Enrolment in the joint 3rd-cycle doctoral study programme Governance and Economics in the Public Sector is open to graduates of:
- 2nd-cycle study programmes;
- former Master or specialisation programmes (equivalent of at least 60 ECTS);
- former specialisation programmes if they completed a professional higher education programme (candidates are required to complete additional course units of 30 to 60 ECTS);
- study programmes leading to professions regulated by EU directives of 300 ECTS or other integrated Master programmes of 300 ECTS;
- former study programmes leading to a university degree adopted before 11 June 2004;
- foreign universities (the equivalence of prior qualifications is established by means of the procedure for the recognition and evaluation of qualifications in accordance with the Statutes of the University of Ljubljana).
Enrolment Restrictions
In the event of restricted enrolment, candidates will be selected based on:
- academic success (grade point average and final thesis grade) – 50 %,
- selection exam results (selection interview) – 50 %.
The candidate must have a good knowledge of English (level B2).
The competent bodies of the University of Ljubljana’s Faculty of Public Administration and University of Rijeka’s Faculty of Economics jointly determine enrolment restrictions depending on the number of suitable candidates and supervisors.
