Call for enrolment into master study programmes of the University of Ljubljana in the academic year 2026/2027
Application for Enrolment
Candidates are required to apply by submitting an electronic application through the eVŠ web portal https://portal.evs.gov.si/prijava/?locale=en.
Candidates applying with foreign qualifications apply for recognition of foreign access qualifications with the same application form. More information here.
Higher education institutions must, prior to further professional and administrative processing of an application for enrolment, conduct a direct interview with a foreign citizen who has submitted an application for enrolment in higher education studies in the Republic of Slovenia and who comes from one of the countries with a higher migration risk, as defined by the list of countries whose citizens must hold visas when crossing the external borders of the European Union, in accordance with the law regulating the conditions and procedures for the entry, departure, and residence of foreigners in the Republic of Slovenia, in order to assess the suitability of such a candidate with regard to the enrolment requirements of the study programme.
Where a higher education institution has reasonable grounds to suspect that the candidate does not demonstrate the level of knowledge indicated by the documents submitted with the application for enrolment, it shall reject the application for enrolment. No appeal may be lodged against the decision of the higher education institution. A rejection decision fully terminates all procedures related to the candidate’s application for enrolment.
Where, following the interview, the higher education institution determines that the candidate is suitable with regard to the enrolment requirements of the study programme, it shall continue with the professional and administrative processing of the application for enrolment.
All costs incurred by the higher education institution in relation to conducting the interview abroad or remotely shall be borne in full by the candidate.
The application deadline for foreigners is June 30, 2026.
