- Understands the basic concepts of environmental policy in the EU and Slovenia.
- Identifies the research problem in a real situation and forms a research question.
- Master the theoretical basis of quantitative and qualitative methods used in environmental research.
- Selects the appropriate method, use databases, examine literature and uses them to solve a research question on the real case from the environmental sector.
- is trained to perform a convincing presentation of results supported by theoretical facts and examples.
Competences:
- Understanding environmental policies at EU and national level.
- Understanding the processes and operations of NGOs at the local, national and international levels.
- Ability to work with NGOs.
- Critical assessment of research data in order to formulate a research question.
- Understanding and applying appropriate research methods to analyze concrete examples from the environmental sector.
- Use of environmental literature and databases to identify research data and place it in context.
