Objectives and competences
Objectives:
- Students understand the content in the field of legal regulation of the EU as a international organization to which Slovenia has transferred the exercise of part of its sovereign rights,.
- Students understand the legal and operational framework of the EU as a backbone for ability to understand EU policies; consequently, the course represents a necessary basis for all courses discussing issues related to the EU.
- Students distinguish the details and differences between the EU legal system and legal system of Slovenia.
Competences:
- Summarizing the development of the EU.
- Understanding the EU institutional framework.
- Understanding the basics of EU action.
- Use of acquired knowledge in analyzing current problems at EU level.
