- the student understands the role and position of subnational governments in the process of formulation and implementation of EU cohesion policy
- the student understands the functioning of the financial incentives of the EU cohesion policy visà-vis Member State
- the student understands the role of the EU cohesion funds and the purpose of cofinancing projects at national and regional level
- the student identifies the cohesion resources of the EU (co)funding
- the student understands the implementation of the EU cohesion funds in concrete projects at national level and can link them to the content of other subjects
- student recognizes the key elements of public procurement from a legal and economic point of view and analyzes the importance of public procurement for the efficiency and effectiveness of public finances
- the student identifies the individual stages of preparation, implementation and evaluation of the EU cohesion projects
- the student is acquainted with the issue of administrative capacity of subnational governments in the process of EU cohesion policy implementation
