Objectives and competences
Student:
- defines problem, asks survey research questions, prepares, and processes survey research,
- uses computational technology and statistical tools for gathering, analysing and presenting results of survey research
- studies literature and builds research construct and questionnaire,
- forms a hypothesis, chooses and uses suitable hypothesis testing technique,
- distinguishes information that is not pertinent to a decision or solution;
- compares observations or finished work to what is expected to find inconsistencies
- makes critical reflexion to survey results and relates them to the practical situation in public sector.
Competences
- to examine numerical data to grasp issues, draw conclusions, and solve problems;
- to use IT equipment and statistical tools to proceed statistical research and create reports and presentation;
- to identify key facts in a range of data;
- to notice when data appear wrong or incomplete, or need verification;
