Objectives and competences
Objectives:
• students acquaint with the institutional structure and the distribution of powers in the EU, especially the methods and practice of EU decision-making
• students obtain detailed knowledge of the Internal Market and the system of European policies, the EU Financing system and the monetary setup
• students gain the ability to critically approach and understand the current administrative system of the EU, especially through the quality management and the control of decision-making processes
• in addition, the students qualify for the evaluation and the analytical assessment of the EU governance system.
These objectives will enable students to develop new and upgrade previously acquired competences, such as: the ability to research and transfer knowledge into practice, the ability to conduct and manage original research in the field of EU governance, as well as the ability to critically analize, comprehend, evaluate and, finally, manage the European process of decision-making and governance.
