1. Objectives and competences

Objectives:
Student:

  • knows basic principles of legal regulation of economic system and business subjects
  • analyses characteristics of companies
  • breaks down process of establishing of companies
  • finds similarities and differences between characteristics of legal persons of public, private and third sector
  • solves professional issues

Competences:

  • to know and to understand the foundation and development of company law
  • to understand the elements and structure of companies
  • to find and use information on legal regulation of business law
  • to recognize, analyse and solve practical and professional issues
  • ability of communicating in profession and between professions

  • Development and sources of commercial law
  • State, market and commercial actors
  • Characteristics of companies (legal capacity, liability, activity, registered name, registered office, representation, entry in the register)

Student:

  • Written tasks (longer and shorter) and active participation (40 %)
  • Written or oral exam, which has to be positive (at least 50 %) (60 %)
