1. Objectives and competences


  • Student is acquainted with the information and communication technology
  • Student knows procedures in the field of recording, collecting, maintaining and using data and information
  • Student is capable of searching, analysing, processing and presentation of data for the paper works  preparation during the rest of the study and later during the preparation of the different reports, expertises and similar reports at the working place
  • Student is capable for participation at the information system development


  • Student has capability of applying the information and communication technology for collection, saving, processing and data presentation
  • Student has capability of understanding operations in the information systems and information technology in practice
  • Has ability for the cooperation at the development of the modern applicative solution on the field of administrative work,
  • Has ability of applying usage of the computer technology at other subjects like statistic analyses, economic expertises, searching juridical sources and good practices abroad
  • Has skills for communication with specialists for information technology in the sense of expressing information needs during the process of the software development
  • Capability placing in context of the new technology at his everyday work

  • Trends and impact of the information and communication technology on the society
  • Basic tools for the support of the administrative work
  • Types and role of operating systems
  • Special charters of usage of the text editor (using styles, indexes, graphics, tables)
  • Basics of spreadsheets (formulas copying, graphics, using functions, statistics)
  • Usage of the electronic communications
  • Presentation preparations
  • Data maintenance (backup, data protection, copying)
  • Strategic data searching and using global databases
  • Presentation of the future features (speech recognition)
