1. Objectives and competences

Objectives:

  • student knows and understands the field of corporate social responsibility (CSR) – it's historical development and the definitions, opinions pro et contra, reporting about CSR and CSR in public administration
  • student knows and understands business ethics and it's relation with law, morality and sustainable development
  • student knows and understands the definitions of quality, excellence and innovativeness and their connection with CSR. Knows the model of excellence for public administration
  • student independently solves case studies on corporate social responsibility and business ethics.

Subject-specific competences:

  • capacity to connect and share the knowledge of management, corporate social responsibility and excellence into praxis
  • ability to explain and compare the facts in the fields of management and corporate social responsibility
  • ability to form the suggestions for problem solving and their interpretation in administrative praxis
  • ability to understand praxis in the field of corporate social responsibility and excellence in Slovenian context
  • capacity to acquire the information and to use the acquired information as well as the ability to communicate them in written or orall
