4. Objectives and competences

Objectives
Student

  • understands and interprets meaning of sustainable development in the environment and space area,
  • analyses environment and sustainability law trends in the world,
  • critically evaluates national regulation of environmental law in the context of international space,
  • applies rules of special administrative procedures in the field of space, construction and environment.

Competences

  • ability to critically appraise regulation trends on national and global level,
  • ability to identify and analyse problems in selected areas and develop recommendations for innovative solutions,
  • ability to resolve concrete legal problems by theory application,
  • ability to analyse relevant case law.

5. Intended learning outcomes

Knowledge and understanding:

  • Student will be able to label constitutional grounds and fundamental principles and trends of environmental and sustainability law on national and international level. Student will be able to analyse selected case law, identify fundamental problems of selected field and suggest solutions. Theoretical knowledge is applicable in practice to conduct special administrative procedures.
