Objectives
Student:
- Knows key elements of modern e-government.
- Can analyse advanced information technologies and services as existing or possible ways of e-business in public administration.
- Can use legal norms to interpret the development and current state of e-government in Slovenia and around the world.
- Is able to solve a concrete problem case that might be a situation in his future job.
- Can test and defines services of e-government from the viewpoint of technology, processes and legal framework.
Competences
Student:
- develops capabilities of correlating gained knowledge in the area of information science in public administration with areas of law, organisation, economy and policies.
- evaluates main information systems and registers in Slovenian public administration which are the foundation of e-government.
- understands legal norms for development and implementation of information systems, knows their content, organisational aspects and practical usage.
- is capable of explanation and comparison of current development in the area of e-government in Slovenia and around the world.
- is capable of evaluation and understanding of projects in e-government and participation in them.
