Objectives and competences
Goals – student:
- analyses theoretical and applicative results in the area of information systems, e-government and open government,
- evaluates and compares theoretical and applicative results in the area of information systems and e-government,
- combines different information systems approaches in innovative solutions of practical problems in the domains of governance and e-government,
- selects, presents, and defends the best IS-based solution for a given practical problem in the domains of governance and e-government.
Competences:
- acquiring and understanding of a comprehensive corpus of knowledge of information systems and e-government,
- ability to critically evaluate the wider importance and impact of using information systems in governance,
- ability to conduct independent research in the domains of informatics and open data in public administration,
- presentation and public defense of the results of scientific research,
- ability to research and transfer of research results to practice.
